Best practice for Cloud Migration

Cloud migration is available for the following desktop products:
  1. Audit Systems (Desktop) to Agile Audit (Cloud)
  2. FinancialsIFRS (Desktop) to SDS  (Cloud)
Process to follow for a simple migration process that retains prior year balances and mapping:
  1. Roll over the prior year CaseWare Working Papers file 
    1. File will be unlocked
    2. Current Year is blank
    3. Only has mapped prior year data
    4. Decide whether to import the current year data into the CaseWare Working Papers file or the Cloud engagements
  2. Bring the Cloudbridge into the CaseWare Working Papers
  3. Create a current year engagement file in the Cloud
  4. Use the CloudBridge to move the mapped data in CaseWare Working Papers to the Cloud engagement
  5. If the current year was not imported into the CaseWare Working Papers file, import the current year directly into current year cloud engagement file
  6. Delete the rolled forward CaseWare Working Papers file if you choose to do this.
