Best Practices on CaseWare QuickBooks Export Utility
In
order to extract data from QuickBooks you need the CaseWare QuickBooks
Export Utility which is included within the installation media.
Note: It
is important that you read the instructions carefully and also ensure the
following points have been addressed:
1. Ensure the
QuickBooks file you are exporting is version 2012/13 Australia or
above.
2. The user
must be logged in the QuickBooks file as the Administrator for
the utility to work.
3. The
QuickBooks file must have the Client name entered in the
appropriate field.
Ensure Show all subaccts in acctno. is unticked within the
CaseWare dialog when importing into Working Papers.
