SmartSync is a component of Working Papers that enables you and your colleagues to work on a client file simultaneously, when you are in the file with several people you can immediately see any changes they make regardless of their location.
The Parent copy acts as the hub for synchronised changes, and is stored in a central location such as a shared network drive or CaseWare Cloud so that other team members can access the file.
Once team members have access to the Parent Copy, they can create their own Child copies and start making changes in the file- which will be reflected in the Parent copy if/when the team member is online.
For steps on how to make use of the SmartSync feature, please watch the attached video.
