How can I re-size table columns within a statement note table?

Resizing all the table columns in the Financial Statements can be a tedious task. There are three methods to assist in this:

Method 1:

1. Select Home | in the View group > Show Ruler in the ribbon to display the ruler. 

2. Click anywhere within the relevant table, the ruler will display the column markers for all columns to the right of the description column.

3. For the column that needs to be re-sized, within the ruler, left mouse to click the appropriate column marker and drag to the left or right to resize. 



4. When you drag the column marker, the following dialog would appear offering you the ability to globally or individually change the column width to your preferences. 



Note: "This Section" button would appear if the section has more than one table.

Method 2:

For a more accurate method of adjusting the width of the columns, the following steps can be taken.

1. Right click on the table, and select Table Properties.

2. Select Column Options and change the Column Width Size accordingly. 

 

Method 3: 

1. Table sizes can also be adjusted by selecting the Table Size button.
