When opening the Financial Statements document in an engagement file, the message "The selected knowledge library path is invalid. Use the folder button to correct the path" may appear below the ribbon.

This message will only appear if the Knowledge Libraries path assigned to the engagement file varies from the location of the Financials Template Knowledge Libraries. This will prevent content from being inserted into the Financial Statements until the Knowledge Library path is corrected.

To set the Knowledge Library path of the engagement file to the correct location: 

1. From the 'Financial Ribbon', select the folder icon 

   

2. Select the library location from the Select Folder dialog

     

3. Click Select Folder.

The message should no longer appear in the Financial Statements ribbon, and the Knowledge Library content should now be accessible from the Insert ribbon.
