How do I display consolidated entities across the page?

In Automatic documents you are now able to format your Lead-sheets and analytical review type documents so they display the consolidated entities across the page. This will provide a format that presents the consolidated entity in one column and all other entities that make up the consolidation tree in the following columns. 

Procedure: 



  1. The Consolidated entity within the Engagement | Consolidate… window has an abbreviation assigned to it. This will not happen by default and must be manually adjusted by, selecting the consolidated entity at the top of the tree and click Properties.

  2. Type in a unique abbreviation in the second field provided.

  3. Click OK to save changes to the top entity and OK again to close the consolidation dialog.

  4. The Consolidated View check-box must be ticked within the Automatic Document properties. To enable this, open the document and go into the document properties (Document | Properties). 

  5. Ensure you have ticked the check-box below, Consolidated View

  6. Click OK and review your Automatic Document.
