How do I efficiently cross reference in SQM?

When adding risks from the Risk Library in SQM, users can view the suggested objectives and policy responses to be linked up with each risk. 

There is no automatic linking between the risks, objectives and policy responses when they are added to SQM.

SQM provides the framework for firms to work within, with all the mandatory and industry specific content required.

Professional judgment is required when:
  1. selecting which risks, objectives and policies responses are relevant to the firm. 
  2. relating risks to objectives and policy responses , procedure responses and tasks
Use the following method to open SQM Risk Library and SQM Objectives simultaneously to allow quick cross referencing during the Design phases of SQM. 
  1. Click on the Risks section in the Design module in SQM. Users can then right click on the SQM tab within the web browser and select Duplicate. 
         
  1. In the duplicate tab, select Objectives or whichever component you want to cross reference the risks with. 
  2. For better visibility, 
    1. split 2 browser windows on one screen or
    2. display each window on separate screen (in dual monitor setups) so that cross referencing can be done quickly and easily.
