Inserting Page breaks
within the Financial Statement notes assists us in adjusting the page layout and orientation
settings.
However it is
important to insert page breaks correctly otherwise, it may impact upon other
components (e.g. Carry forward headings).
Note
- For Page Breaks to work
properly they must be inserted in a paragraph using style that starts
with NT
Text, or any printing cells in
the table
- Page layout and orientation
settings can only be applied to page break on a paragraph using style NT
Text
- Page break on the table row
will print the entire table row on the next page
Follow the steps below
to insert a Page break within a Note or a table:
- Select the NT
Text paragraph you wish to add the
Page Break too, or a cell in the table
- Within the 'Financials ribbon'
select the Insert tab | from the Table area > Page break
- The next page break will be
inserted in the paragraph

If there are no NT
Text paragraphs
available (above/below the note) follow the steps below to insert.
Inserting an NT
Text paragraph
depends on the previous note's format.
Paragraph Notes: Should be using a style with the prefix NT Text. To add a new
paragraph for the page break following the steps below:
- Place the cursor at the end of
the Text Paragraph.
- Press ENTER on your keyboard. A new
paragraph will appear below.
3. Insert page break in the new
paragraph.
Table
Notes: To add a new
paragraph for the page break following the steps below:
- Place the cursor anywhere on
the table.
- Select Table
Tools tab | Insert > Paragraph
Before or Table
Tools | Insert > Paragraph
After.
