1. To open the Audit Strategy document, browse for it within your audit engagement (Australian or Oneform).
It should be located in the 'Phase A- Risk Assessment' folder, under '2-400- Audit Strategy'. For Micro Audit, this is contained in the MIC document.
2. From this document, the Deliverables table is accessed through the Document Map and selecting 'Determine Deliverables and Due Dates'.
3. Then users can determine how many deliverables they want (up to 16 available) from the dropdown shown in the image below. 6 deliverables is the default option.
4. You are able to add your own Deliverables by manually typing the Doc ID into its' designated column which will then prompt CaseWare to automatically populate its' description.
5. The next step allows you to add a due date for the Deliverable to be completed. In the 'Scheduled' column, click on the grid icon to bring up a calendar. From the calendar select the appropriate date.
6. If there is a regulatory requirement that demands an additional date/time frame to be entered, there is a 'Regulatory' column which you can also add dates into via the same method shown above.
7. Additionally, users can select a role who is responsible for marking off a specific deliverable as complete. This can be done by clicking the arrow to open the dropdown list of roles available within the engagement.
Selection of a role will automatically pull through the initials and sign off date of the user, as matched with the role properties in the engagement letter.
That concludes the entries into the Deliverables table.
This information does get carried through to the Cloud and can be seen when you access your Cloud server and enter the Q app. You can see here how many due deliverables are outstanding or overdue, and through the Metadata link you can view a more detailed account of Deliverables within the cloud.
Note: Users may notice a link to the 'OS6' document in the text above the Deliverables table. To enable this, exit to document manager and right click on the 'Overall Audit Strategy' document. Select 'Properties' and in the 'General' tab enable the tick in the Deliverable tick box. By doing this, it will collect all the documents marked with this checkbox and show them in OS6.
Make sure you do all work outside of the OS6 document as nothing added in there will be pushed up to the cloud.
