How does 2-18X and 2-190 work and how are they related?

Two new worksheets being added to Audit System are the 2-18X and 2-190 worksheets.

The 2-18X worksheet has been created to assist in the documentation of key business processes relating to the audit.

This worksheet should be copied and pasted to create one for each of the  key business processes in the audit.
The name and ID can be edited by right-clicking the worksheet and selecting Properties.

Inside this worksheet you can give specific details on the key business process.

Question 5 will change the layout of the relevant considerations documentation section. You either can view this section in “narrative” which will provide more space for comments;

Or you can choose to document these in a process table form.

The IT Applications identified table below is where you input information on IT applications relating to the key business process. You can add up to seven of these for each business process. You can add more rows in the table by right-clicking and selecting Insert IT Application identified.

Applications added into this table will flow into the 2-190 worksheet if the Include box is checked. If you don’t want an application to show in the 2-190, you can uncheck the box next to the item.

You can view all of the IT applications across your key business processes that will be shown in 2-190 by clicking View IT apps from other cycles.

The 2-190 worksheet provides a detailed summary for all of the specified IT applications in the key business processes.

In this worksheet you can view IT applications that were included in the 2-18x worksheets, and complete a more detailed description of each application.

Each included IT application will show as a column in the IT Applications identified table.

Alternatively, if you do not want 2-190 to depend on the IT applications from the 2-18x worksheets, you can choose to make the IT Applications included table manual. Select the (+) button next to Settings, and select Manual in the dropdown box.

You can then select how many IT applications you wish to report on.
