How to Display/Hide Earnings per Share Information within the Income Statement?

Procedure: 

Step 1: Ensure your cursor is selected anywhere within the Statement of Profit and Loss.
Step 2: A context sensitive Statement setup tab would appear in the Financials Ribbon.
Step 3: Under the Statement of Profit and Loss tab, tick or untick Earnings per share (EPS).

Note: The Earnings per share (EPS) tick option is only available for the Statement of Profit and Loss.
 
Note: To have the EPS appear in the Statement of Profit and Loss and Other Comprehensive Income, follow the steps below:
Temporarily insert the Statement of Profit and Loss into your Financial Statements, from the Entity Information > Areas Required.
Tick the Earnings per share option within the Statement of Profit and Loss Ribbons Tab.
Remove the temporarily inserted Statement of Profit and Loss from your Financial Statements.
The EPS row would now appear in the Statement of Profit and Loss and Other Comprehensive Income.
