How to download a Custom function?
There are 2 ways to download a Custom Function from the IDEA Passport.
Method 1
Download from the CaseWare Passport.
Custom functions are located on the Downloads Tab > IDEA Custom Functions
Click on the custom function you want to download
Unzip the download file. They then appear in the Customs Functions Library group in the Library window.
Once a custom function has been added to the Custom Functions Library group, it is added to the functions list in the Equation Editor.
Method 2
In the Equation Editor, click the Custom Functions button
The Custom Functions dialog box appears.
Click Online
Download the required custom functions to the Custom Functions.ILB folder in the active project.
Unzip the download file. They then appear in the Customs Functions Library group in the Library window.
Once a custom function has been added to the Custom Functions Library group, it is added to the functions list in the Equation Editor.
You can perform the same management tasks (i.e., editing, duplicating) on an example custom function as you would on any other custom function you have created.
