How to get Elimination entries to appear in the lead schedules

How to get Elimination entries to appear in the lead schedules

Leadsheets in CaseWare display the Normal and Reclassification adjusting journals by default. For a Consolidation engagement file you may wish to show the Eliminating adjustments.

Follow the steps below to achieve this:

1. Open the Document Manager and select the appropriate Leadsheet.

2.From the menus, select Document | Properties. The Document Properties will open.

3. Click the General Tab. The appropriate options will appear.

4.Change Balance Type to Consolidated

5. Click OK. The Leadsheet will now display the Eliminating adjustments.

Note: If required, this process needs to repeated for other leadsheets
