What is the OPT Optimiser?
The OPT Optimiser is an optimising worksheet that asks you a series of questions about the Agile Audit engagement, which will then tailor the engagement relevant to your entity. For example, questions regarding whether or not an engagement is an initial audit will determine whether we accept a client for the first time or whether we are continuing. Other questions towards whether we are a listed entity or are using RFI workpapers will also further optimise whether or not some documents are required. The OPT must be run first before we start utilising any other worksheet.
How to use OPT Optimiser?
1. After creating a new engagement, select the OPT Optimiser under the document tab.
2. The document should look something like this.
3. Select Yes to enable the documents required.
4. The enabled documents should appear unde the documents tab like this.
Carried Forward Engagement Files
How is the OPT Optimiser used on a Carried forward engagement?
For carried forward engagements, the optimiser will have the option to bring forward the prior year responses to assist you with the audit process.
To carry forward the prior year responses, click the tick, and to dismiss, click the cross.
Click this icon at the top right corner to carry forward or dismiss all responses to the current Optimiser questions.
