Optimiser 1: Entity and Reporting Information Overview

The Entity and reporting information optimiser captures the entity settings and provides the reporting settings which are used to configure the financial statements being prepared.

To use the Entity and reporting information optimiser, complete the following steps:

  1. Click the Entity and reporting information optimiser from the optimisers section of your Documents screen.
  2. Information displayed within the Entity Information area is directly linked from Entity Details. To view or edit these details:
    1. Click on one of the blue text fields.

    2. The ‘Entity Details’ screen will display in a second tab. View and edit these details as required.

  3. Default selections have been assigned throughout the Reporting Information area. To change any of the default selections:

    1. Unclick the default selection.

    2. Click the preferred response. Note: A signoff with the initials of the person making the selection will appear to the right of the updated selection.

    3. The updated selection will be reflected in the financial statements.

  4. Click the guidance lightbulb button to view guidance assigned to an optimiser selection.
