What’s New for October 2023?

​The following items were updated in the Public Sector October 2023 release:
  1. New filter for:
    1. Z4.10 - Going Concern
    2. 4-700 - ASA Program
  2. 2-105 Understanding the entity system of controls updated to better align for 315
  3. Split program 2-250 ASA Program - external confirmations:
    1. Removed specific procedures from 2-250 ASA Program - external confirmations
    2. New program for external confirmations ASA 505 in A.30 ASA Program
  4. 3-200 Assertion level planning programs updated for 315
  5. 4-045 ASA Program - Entities using service organisations
  6. Amendments to Risk Response ‘Test of controls’
  7. G.10 Property Plant and Equipment additional test procedure amendments

Past releases

The following items were updated in the Public Sector October 2022 release:

Public Sector 24.00 

The Public Sector October 2022 (version 24.00) update includes changes to the risk dialogs and their ratings. This change has been made to align with the ASA 315 changes.

The template also includes changes to ASA 220 and ASA 502 .

 

IMPORTANT: If there are any existing engagement files that have not been updated to last year’s 315 update, ensure you follow the update process from the previous guide, PSAS Version 4.0 Update Guide (ASA 315 & 220).pdf
