Before using SQM, users must have the following prerequisites:
Users should be set up as a staff member in Cloud and be able to login.
Users should be assigned an SQM license.
There are four levels of permissions in SQM that can be assigned to staff:
Create: The Create role is automatically assigned along with the SQM license assigned to staff. This role only allows users to create Tasks within SQM. Users allocated just the Create role cannot access some modules within the SQM app such as the Operate overview module.
Design: The Design role is for the ultimate responsible to design the system of quality management for the firm. A staff member with the Design role assigned will be able to access the Design module of SQM and publish changes as and when required.
Operate Overview: Staff who are assigned the Operate Overview role are the people responsible for monitoring and reviewing the system of quality management. Users who are assigned the Operate Overview can view the published SQM along with the status and responses of tasks that has been created and assigned to users. They can also create tasks and allocate them to staff members to execute.
Monitor: The Monitor role is for the person responsible for monitoring the system of quality management at the firm. A staff member with the Monitor role assigned will be able to access the Monitor module of SQM, which allows them to create monitor activities, add work programs and create monitoring reports, review findings and related remedial actions.
Evaluate: The Evaluate role is for the person responsible for Evaluating the system of quality management at the firm. A staff member with the Evaluate role assigned will be able to access the Evaluate module of SQM, which allows them to add work programs, review findings and related remedial actions.
