Feature - Working with tables

SQM provides the user with various features when working with content in tables.
These include
Group the content by columns;
Choose which columns to show;
Filter columns;
Search for values in columns
Expand rows
Sort content by columns
Resize columns
The features are available for pre-defined columns only.
Note that customisations made on the view are not persistent and, on refresh of the page, the table returns to the default view.

1. Group content by columns

Drag a column heading to the space above the table to group the table content according to that column.
To restore the original view, drag the column header back to the table.

2. Choose which columns to show

To add or remove columns in the table, select the COLUMN CHOOSER icon on the page.
In the popover, scroll up and down to view the available columns and select or de-select the columns to show.

3. Filter columns

To filter the content in the table, select the filter icon in a column and select the relevant option(s).

Remember to tick SELECT ALL to return to the original view, with all the content in the table.

4. Search for values in columns

Some of the columns in the tables have a search bar.

Type search criteria in the search bar to find specific items in that column.

5. Expand rows

Rows can be expanded by clicking on the EXPAND button.

The row can be collapsed by clicking on the COLLAPSE button.

6. Sort content by columns

The content of the table is sorted by a specific column.

To change the column for sorting, select a desired column header.

The content is then sorted in ascending order of that column.

Click on that same column header to change the sorting direction to descending.

7. Resize columns

The width of the columns in the table can be increased or decreased.
To resize the columns, move the mouse to the separator line between the two columns.
The mouse pointer turns into a double  -pointed arrow. Click and drag left or right to adjust the width of the select column.
