What assertions are used in CaseWare audit tools?
Within all CaseWare audit solutions, the 4 combined audit assertions are used:
C - Completeness
E - Existence
A - Accuracy & Cut-off
V - Valuation
These map to the more detailed assertion level for classes of transactions and account balances as follows:
