Xtend Firm Settings: How to customise query documents
This FAQ is directed to those tasked with customising firm templates within Xtend ANZ.
Adding new groups:
A Group is created as a means to categorise queries into relevant areas.
To create a new Group, navigate to the top of the Navigation Panel on the left of your screen and select the + icon next to Question Sets.
This will insert a new Group at the bottom of your query document which you can name accordingly.
Adding new Query Questions:
A Query Question refers to a specific question or request that is directed towards the client.
To add a new Query Question, simply hover over the desired location to access the pop up menu. Click the + icon.
You will then select the type of response you want the client to provide. They are outlined below.
File Upload: File Upload response provides clients with a dropbox to browse and/ or drag and drop documents to.
Picklist: A picklist response type generates a picklist where the client can select ONE response. Using the edit pencil, you can alter the response options and add more. You can also select to display the options inline, which presents them horizontally instead of vertically.
Multi-Picklist: A multi-picklist is a picklist where the client can select MULTIPLE responses. Using the edit pencil, you can alter the response options and add more. You can also select to display the options inline, which presents them horizontally instead of vertically.
Text: A text response type is simply an input cell in which a client can manually type their responses.
Date: The date response type allows clients to select a date from a calendar.
Please note: If you have selected a File Upload response type, you can go into the three dot menu on the right and select
Settings. Insert
CWXTNDANZ into the AuthorID and this will link the documents your client uploads to the Working Papers 2019 Xtend ANZ placeholder. Review this
FAQ for more details on Xtend's integration with Working Papers 2019.
Re-ordering Groups and Query Questions:
To move your Groups or Query Questions to a different position inside the Query document, you simply drag them where needed within the Navigation Panel.
