This guide will demonstrate how to address inconsistencies in your engagement file which may potentially cause issues when the Copy Components feature is used to insert new documents as part of your annual CaseWare engagement file update.

If your file is impacted, a warning message will likely appear to notify you of the issue.
To address the issue, follow the process outlined below to address the file's inconsistencies.
1. Perform the following update:
- Audit System Template Users - Functionality Only Update (Guide here)
- Public Sector Audit System Users - Functionality and Content Update (Guide here)
2. Once the relevant update is performed,
create a back up of the file following the
instructions here.
3. Insert the ADMIN CaseWare A&NZ Diagnostic Tool (ver: 28.00.05) following the numbered click instructions in the screenshots below.

4. Open the newly inserted document and perform and complete the GUID check following the numbered click instructions in the screenshots below.

5. Close the ADMIN CaseWare A&NZ Diagnostic Tool (ver: 28.00.05) document.
6. Perform the Copy Components function relevant to your engagement file update.
